Hi, Moms! Love the panel! What is the difference between Boardwalk Inn and Boardwalk Villas? The price is the same, the pool is the same... Is it about the rooms? Which one is better for mom, dad and 6 year old son?

    Hi Marilia,

Thanks for writing!  The BoardWalk Villas are part of the Disney Vacation Club family of properties, and accommodations range from a studio (which has a sleeper sofa, queen-sized bed, and small kitchenette, with mini-fridge, sink and microwave), one or two-bedroom villas with separate living rooms, bedrooms, dining areas and full-sized kitchens, to grand villas, which are enormous, three-bedroom accommodations that sleep up to twelve.  At the BoardWalk Inn, you will find traditional hotel rooms, with either a king bed, or two queens along with a day bed.  You are correct that both properties (which are located within the same resort grounds) share the same fantastic pool, shops and lobby.  I'm guessing, since you mentioned that the prices are similar, you are comparing a studio at the Villas to a room at the Inn.  I think both are a great choice.  If you opt for the studio, you will have a kitchenette, however, you will need to open the sofa bed unless your son wants to sleep on the closed sofa.  I'm a big fan of having a kitchen in my room to help save on concessions in the parks and for snacks/light meals, and don't mind folding the sofa in the room.

Whichever you chose, have a wonderful vacation!
