Hi - Love the panel!! Have a DCL question - Planning a cruise for early 2013 for family. Can an electric wheelchair be rented for use on the ship and at the ports? If not, do you know where we can rent one from for use on our Disney Cruise? Thanks

    Hi Janet,

When making a Disney Cruise Line reservation please mention that your party will need to rent a motorized wheelchair for the trip.  The representative will have a list readily available of local medical supply vendors who can deliver your wheelchair to the port of departure.  You will be able to use this wheelchair for the duration of your cruise, and the vendor will come back to the port for pickup.

In addition to this, there are a limited number of beach/sand wheelchairs that are available on Castaway Cay.  It's on a first come, first served basis.

I hope this information helps.  Please let me know if you have any other questions.  I'm always happy to help out a fellow cruiser!
