I love to hotel hop, which are the Top 5 I should visit, which have the best restaurants

Angela, my motto on vacation is to "Eat, Drink, and be (with) Mickey!" The dining at the Walt Disney World theme parks is first-rate, but being able to take a break and escape to the Resort hotels, is the best way to recharge your batteries. I'd be happy to take you on a culinary tour around the "World!"

Some of the best restaurants at Walt Disney World are located right on the monorail loop. Disney's Contemporary Resort has two of my favorite dining establishments: The Wave... of American Flavors, a hidden gem, and California Grill, which has some of the best firework views on property.

Disney's Polynesian Village Resort is one stop down on the monorail. 'Ohana is a family favorite, especially with my teenagers. Come hungry because there's all you can eat skewers, Dumplings, and Honey-Coriander Chicken Wings. If you have any room leftover, try the legendary Bread Pudding, or head to the Pineapple Lanai for a Dole Whip.

Disney's Wilderness Lodge, a beautiful respite that is only a ferry boat ride away from Magic Kingdom Park, has one of the best quick-service restaurants on property. Geyser Point serves up high quality eats with views of Bay Lake. If meeting characters is a priority, try Story Book Dining at Artist Point. The Evil Queen's smoldering look is worth the price alone!

Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge is another resort that's worth the trek. My personal favorite is Jiko– The Cooking Place, and they are known for their Oak Fired Filet with Mac and Cheese (by request only). A close second goes to Sanaa at Kidani Village. I prefer to go here for lunch because you get a spectacular view of the animals as you dine. And don't forget to order the Bread Service!

Lastly, Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort is home to one of the longest-running dinner shows in the country. Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue is quintessential Disney and has entertained more than 10 million guests over its 45-year run. Although Guests love the fried chicken and strawberry shortcake, it's the slapstick comedy that makes this show so popular.

So, as fast as you can say "Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo," Angela, get yourself over to these restaurants! Just remember to make your dining reservations up to 180 days in advance of your stay using the My Disney Experience App. Have a magical trip!

Meet the Panelist: Eean, Pennsylvania

Hi, I'm Eean from Pennsylvania!  I may have an unusual name, but my passion for Disney is not unique.  It’s amazing how many people you can find who love talking about, "The Most Magical Place On Earth!"  I'm that mom who always has her ears perked at PTO meetings, in the grocery store aisle, or at middle school basketball games waiting for an opportunity to give someone a planning tip to help make their vacation even more magical.
