Hello Love You Guys! the family will be in Disney World in 30days. I would like to know what is the best kind of marker for characters to use when signing autographs? I heard thick, thin, permanent and not permanent. Which is best? Thanks!

Welcome to the Moms Panel Serena!

I love counting down the days to my trip and the closer I get, the more excited I get.  In my experience with the characters, I would recommend a thicker pen or marker.  While Cinderella won't have a problem with a smaller pen, Mickey seems to do better with a thicker marker.  I think bigger hands = bigger markers.  Using a thicker pen or marker covers you with both.  There are also some characters like Buzz Lightyear that use their own stamp.  Some characters can't sign autographs.  Mike Wazowski and Sully can't sign at all, not even with a stamp.

I think permanent versus regular ink depends on what you are getting the characters to sign.  If you are planning to purchase an autograph book at Disney, you can also purchase a thicker Disney pen that uses regular ink.  Those pens work well with the autograph books but you could always use a permanent marker if you prefer.  If you are getting them to sign something made of material (i.e., hat), then a permanent marker would definitely be the way to go.
