We love Epcot. We will be there during the Flower and Garden festival. On the menu for the outdoor kitchens.....will it state if the dish has nuts? I saw it stated whether they were vegetarian or gluten free. Thanks!

    Hi Molly!

Just like you, I love Epcot! Whether enjoying the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival, the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival or simply enjoying a normal Epcot day, one of my favorite things to do at Walt Disney World is explore Epcot's World Showcase to sample all of the food, wine and activities it has to offer.

As the mom to a little one with food allergies, we have navigated World Showcase many times with my little one while accommodating a peanut and tree nut free diet. In my experience, the posted Outdoor Kitchen menus do not state if the dish has peanuts or tree nuts. However, you can always get ingredient information for the items offered at an Outdoor Kitchen, or any other dining location at Walt Disney World Resort, by notifying the Cast Member of the nut-free diet you are accommodating and asking for assistance when ordering. You may need to ask to speak to a Chef or manager to ensure you are able to eat safely.

In our experience, the Cast Members and Chefs have done a great job accommodating my son's special dietary requirements. If you would like more information about how the Outdoor Kitchens can accommodate you during your trip, I would recommend you contact the Special Diets Team by emailing them at Special.Diets@DisneyWorld.com. They will be able to give you the best information about how you can enjoy this year's Outdoor Kitchen offerings.

Let me know if you have other questions as you continue planning! T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
