We love to disconnect from our everyday lives while on vacation. Are there any Disney hotels that either don't have a tv in the room or have limited channels (no cable, no 24 hours news and sports, etc)?

    Hello Elizabeth!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. One of the reasons my family and I love our Walt Disney World vacations so much is because we, too, love unplugged time together. It really does feel like a whole new world.

The Walt Disney World Resort hotels all have TVs with many different channels. However, they also have channels where you can be solely engrossed in the magic like a channel for Must Do Disney or Your Disney Resort information. We gotta do the Must Dos.

We often don't have time to watch television, because we are playing in the theme parks all day, eating in the delicious restaurants, or swimming in the splashtastic pools on property. As soon as my head hits the pillow, I'm off to dream land thinking about fairies and Mickey Waffles.

If you do find the TV to be tempting, then unplug it or hide the remote. Make sure you leave a note for Mousekeeping so that they can find it if you do. Some people aren't as good at finding treasure as Captain Hook.

If you have any other questions, please come back and see us real soon. Have a magical vacation!
