LOVE the Moms (and Dads) Panel! A friend gave hubby & I a WDW Gift card to take with us for our trip in 57 days. We are on the DDP. What are the limitations for our gift card?

    Hi Jeanie,

You must have some pretty special friends to receive such a thoughtful gift! Disney Gift Cards are incredibly versatile. They can be used at participating locations all over Walt Disney World Resort.

You may use your Disney Gift Card to pay for your Resort hotel, purchase merchandise and food and even tickets. Some people participating in Disney dining plans even use gift cards to pay their tips after a meal.

You won't able to link a Disney Gift Card to make purchases with your MagicBand, so make sure to keep it with you. That said, you can always stop by the Front Desk to pay off any room charges during your vacation.

Feel free to take a look at the Terms and Conditions page for more information on how you may use your gift card.

Wishing you and your husband a carefree and relaxing vacation, Jeanie. Please let us know if you have any other questions!
