We would love to have a character lunch at Tusker House. The problem is we don't have the park hopper passes & we only have 4 days to explore the parks & would prefer to use 2 days at MK and skip AK altogether. Can we still enter the park for lunch

    Hi Melanie!

Character lunches are always great fun!  If you want to dine at one of the restaurants in any of the theme parks, theme park admission is required. So if you want to go in, even just for lunch at Tusker House, you will need a ticket to enter Animal Kingdom.

If you've never been to Animal Kingdom, you may be surprised at how much you'd enjoy it.  They have a lot of great attractions, exotic wildlife and shows that can't be beat.  Expedition Everest is one of the best thrill rides in any of the Disney theme parks. Festival of the Lion King and Finding Nemo - The Musical are fabulous shows and always must dos for our family.

If you have younger kids, 2 days at the Magic Kingdom may be a better plan for you at this time. We love The Crystal Palace for character dining at the Magic Kingdom so you may want to look into that as an option. If you decide to skip Animal Kingdom this trip, you can make it your first stop next trip and have lunch at Tusker House.

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison
