Hi! I love the Blog! When I registered for the Princess half marathon I didn't have proof of time. I have since submitted it. Should I get a confirmation? I plan to run with a camera, are other people usually willing to help if the pros aren't around?

Hi Marci! Thanks so much!  I am glad that we are here to help you out!

I am assuming you found this information:
Please email your updated proof of time (include the race you registered for, your official race time, along with the year and name of the race) to disneysports@trackshack.com by December 1, 2012. After December 1, all proof of time updates must be made during the Expo at the Runner Relations booth.

If that is what you did, you wouldn't necessarily receive a confirmation email.  They will take your information and apply it to your registration to assign you to the correct corral for the race.  If you are worried, you can call runDisney at 407-938-3398.   Also, if you get your bib and don't think you are in the right corral, you can also visit the Runners Relations booth at the expo.  I have done this before, and they will give you a sticker for your bib.  No worries!

And yes!  Runners (especially runDisney runners) are a friendly bunch!  You will find most people running with their cameras.  In the character lines, we all just take the picture for the person in front of us.  I usually grab a spectator to snap my picture in front of Cinderella Castle as we run up Main Street U.S.A.!

Please let me know if you have any other questions!
