Hi!! Love your advice!!! 1 more question. Can we use Dining credits and cash to pay for a bill at the end of meal? For example if we run out of credits and have to pay for my son's meal off the kids menu on cash? Thank you, Samantha

    Hi Samantha,

Glad to have you back at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Just a few days until your vacation. How exciting!

The Dining Plans are SO convenient. All we do is worry about which restaurants to choose instead of meal budgets. My family prefers the Disney Dining Plan, but we sometimes mix things a little and use our credits towards a signature dining experience or dinner show.

You can definitely pay cash for part of your meal if needed. For example, sometimes we like to add a specialty drink or appetizer. But sometimes, my grown-up kids load on Snacks and are not too hungry at dinner time and they may only want to have an appetizer as a meal. We then inform our server to bill us for them instead of using a dining credit. I suggest you do so when seated to make it easier.

One last tip: be sure to download the My Disney Experience mobile app right away, which besides letting you make changes to FastPass+ or dining, you can now make your Online Check-In. See you real soon!
