There has been a lot of confusion lately about using deluxe dining credits for members of your dining party not on the plan. Does disney still allow for this?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Jennifer! I love using the Disney Dining Plan to save time and money while I'm at Walt Disney World Resort, and it's great because it gives me and my family the opportunity to try new things and still be able to eat all of our old favorite snacks and meals, which means Mickey Mouse Pretzels for everyone!

Guests who are using the Disney Deluxe Dining Plan are each issued two Snack credits per day, as well as three Meal credits that can be used at both Quick-Service and Table-Service dining locations. While Disney Dining Plan credits cannot be transferred from guest to guest, they can be redeemed to pay for the meals of guests who are dining with you who are not using the Dining Plan. For example, if you are enoying a meal at a dining location that requires one Table-Service credit, the Cast Member serving you will ask if you are on the Disney Dining Plan and how many guests will be using it. The Disney Deluxe Dining Plan is great for using with larger parties! Since everyone gets an appetizer, entrée, and dessert, you can order lots of dishes to taste and try together. At the end of the meal, you'll tap your MagicBand and credits will be be deducted for each person in the dining party. You can easily keep track of your credits while you're at Walt Disney World Resort with the My Disney Experience app so you can see how many snacks and meals you and your family have left to enjoy!

    Have a magical day, Jennifer!
