A lot of blogs I have been reading stress how important it is to make ADRs. I just wanted to know if we need to plan every meal before we go? In Disneyland we usually do counter service for most meals & maybe 1 sit down. Is it different in WDW?

    Hi Camille,

Ready to visit the Most Magical Place on Earth? You’re not driving cross country like we did last summer, are you?

Some signature experiences such as Cinderella’s Royal Table, or Be Our Guest Restaurant are extremely popular and sure indeed, book way in advance. At Walt Disney World Resort, you can make dining reservations up to 180 days in advance. Simply visit the Walt Disney World restaurants and reservations page, or you can call (407) WDW-DINE or (407) 939-3463.

We’ve been visiting the resort during the holiday season, a type that’s very popular. Many restaurants do require advance booking, however there’s always someone that cancels at the last minute and magically an opening that fits that void becomes available. Our family enjoys having a table-service meal every night so we do plan early. There’s something for every taste, and not only on the theme parks, but also on the resort hotels and Disney Springs.

One last tip - make sure you download the My Disney Experience mobile app. In addition to keeping track of your reservations and FastPass+, you can make dining reservations and even make changes. It’s a great tool.

Wishing a magical trip. See you real soon!
