Lori - I have not done the best job of training for the Half Marathon. This is my first half-marathon and my first runDisney event. If I do not keep the 16-minute pace and get picked up and transported to the finish line .... do I still get a medal?

    Hi Nathaniel!

I am sorry that you haven't been able to train as much as you would like.  I know it can be hard to fit all of your training in during these busy holiday months.

There will be sweepers that come along at the end of the race at a 16 minute/mile pace.  If you are swept they may offer you a medal and it will be up to you whether or not you want to accept it.

But, don't give up just yet!  A 16 minute/mile pace is really a brisk walk, so you may surprise yourself and be able to finish it after all.  A positive outlook will be really beneficial to your race, so be sure to pump yourself up, and repeat "I can do it!" over and over again!  I have faith in you!

Please let me know if you have any other questions!
