Hi Lori, I know you said you are usually on the bus by 4am for the race, but I am doing the marathon next weekend and am worried that wont be enough time. How long is the bus ride and is it really a 20 min walk to the start? I don't want to be late!

    Hi Farren!

Well, I think you HAVE to be on a bus no later than 4 a.m., but I actually like to be on one of the first buses closer to 3 a.m.  Either one will get you there on time, but I really like having some extra time to relax and get rid of my nerves once at the starting area.

Yes, it is really a 20 minute walk to the start.  It's an easy walk, and I actually like it because it helps me to warm up and loosen my muscles a bit.  Your bus ride will vary according to what resort you are coming from, but I would plan at least a 20 minute ride.

I hope this helps!  Please let me know if you have any other questions!
