    Joe Asked

We are looking to visit in apr but there is no availability for all of the days on the spring package for the resort we want. I was told we could do a continued res. If we do that can we use our tickets all week, we are getting the later days of the week?

    Hi Joe!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I'm not sure exactly what you are asking, so I'm going to provide my best answer.  Please write back if I don't answer your question completely.

It sounds like you can't get a single hotel room to cover your entire stay and that Disney recommended getting two rooms to cover your stay.  You can definitely do that and in fact many guests like to hop from one resort to another; my biggest advice there is to make sure you stay in the higher quality resort for the last part of your trip.  For example, it is easy to go from Pop Century to the Polynesian Resort for the last few days of your trip than the other day around!

Tickets can also be an issue, but the best way to do it is to get tickets to cover your entire stay with your first reservation.  For example, suppose you are staying 3 nights at Pop Century and 2 nights at the Polynesian.  I would get a 5 or 6 day theme park ticket with your first reservation and make your second reservation a "room only" reservation.  The only real issue is the Disney Dining Plan as the Disney Dining Plan is only available if you are on a package, meaning room and tickets.  With a split stay, I recommend getting the Dining Plan (if you are interested in it) only for the first part of your stay.

I hope this helps!  Please write back with more questions!
