Kids on attraction

I am looking to take a trip with my family of 5 toDisney. We have a baby and 2 older children. Is there any form of offered childcare for times we want to do big rides?

    Hi Nancy,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question!

Although in-room Childcare Services are definitely available for a fee at Walt Disney World Resort, I believe you’re looking for childcare services within the Theme Parks.

Although that option isn’t currently available, the Rider Switch service will allow you the more daring members of your family to experience the more thrilling attractions without your little one. This program will allow you and your family to “swap” who stays with the littlest member of your family while the other adult experiences the attraction. Your bigger kids will be happy to know that they may even be able to experience some of their favourite attractions twice this way: once with each parent!

I hope my answer helps you plan the perfect visit to Walt Disney World Resort for every member of your family. Don’t forget to visit the Baby Care Centers with your little one if you need to find a bit of quiet time and don’t forget to visit the Planning for Preschool Kids & Little Ones page for more information about planning a memorable visit with a wee one.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
