We are looking to travel to WDW Nov 12-19th. I've am wondering if all the Christmas decorations will be up the weeks before Thanksgiving? Also, with crowd levels expected at 2 and 3, do I still need to plan fast pass+ and dining reservations in advance?

    Hi Christie!

Holidays at Walt Disney World Resort are magical. As soon as Halloween ends, Cast Members will begin working their magic to dress up the theme parks for the holidays. The first Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is on November 8 this year. So, you should be able to see many holiday decorations up at Magic Kingdom Park, and some throughout Walt Disney World.

Personally, I enjoy making FastPass+ selections and dining reservations in advance. Having FastPass+ reservation times for a few select attractions and experiences that my family and I enjoy puts my mind at ease. While the crowds may be lower during your visit, the less time you have to wait in line for rides or dining means more time for other fun.

Please let us know if we can help answer any other questions as you continue to plan your visit to Disney World.

    Have a magical day!
