We are looking at staying at the Swan next year. I know we would have to purchase magic bands but would we still be able to plan our fp+ 60 days in advance or would it be 30 days? Also, if I don't buy magic bands what would we use instead?

    Hi Courtney,

You must be so excited about your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation, and all the planning that's involved. The fact that you decided to stop by the Moms Panel to ask your planning questions is Tiggerific!

Guests staying at the Walt Disney World Swan Hotel or the Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel are now eligible to make their FastPass+ selections 60 days from their scheduled check-in date. Guests will have to purchase their own MagicBands, but if they decide not to, the hotel will issue their own key cards upon check-in. If you decide to wait to buy MagicBands for your vacation, they can be added to your My Disney Experience account once you arrive to your hotel. You are able to do this from your own computer by adding the special number on the back of the MagicBand, or you can take them to the concierge at the hotel, or guest services in front of each park, and have them assist you.

I hope this answered your question, Courtney. If you have any other questions during your vacation planning, please feel free to ask us at any time. We're always here to help.

    Have a fantastical Disney day!
