We are looking to stay at a 1 or 2 bedroom villa (Me, DH, 4 and 2) for the space while sleeping but aren't in need of the large kitchen areas--are other options available at other resorts(ie adjoining rooms, etc) PO French Quarter is our #1 place to stay.

I love staying in the villas, even when I don't use the kitchen at all. It's great to have in-room access to laundry (less to pack and less to do at home). And many of the villa rooms at WDW have fabulous jacuzzi-type tubs which are very relaxing after a hot day in the parks.

But if the villas don't seem right for you, you should know that all the resorts, including Port Orleans have adjoining rooms. You might also want to consider the new All Star Music Family Suites. These suites are about the size of two All Star rooms, plus a very small kitchenette with a microwave and mini-refrigerator. Or, if you're interested in a more outdoorsy experience, the cabins at Fort Wilderness have quite a bit of room.
