Looking to come in spring break 2013. Planning on getting the dining plan. Have had it before, but want to see if there is a right way and wrong way of using it. What can someone tell me about and how to use the dining plan.

I don't know that I'd say there is necessarily a right and wrong way of using the Disney Dining Plan, Kelly.  I will say, though, that many guests have methods that seek to make the most of those meal credits.  One of the common ones is that if you intend to dine in a restaurant that requires two meal credits, you're better off paying out of pocket for that meal.  On the contrary, character, buffet, and family-style meals typically offer a great value for a single entitlement.  Another tip for getting the most value for your meal credits is to use your table-service meal at dinner when food costs are a bit higher than at lunch.

Like I said, those aren't necessarily right or wrong, but they do seem to be popular methods for stretching those meal credits as far as possible.  Enjoy!
