    Lauren Asked

We are looking into spending at the Thanksgiving Holiday season this year at Disney World. Definitely on a fixed budget. Would Nov 26th - Nov 30th be a great time to go and what would be some great places to view with a 9-year old Princess and 2 adults?

The holidays are a lovely time to visit Walt Disney World, Lauren, when it comes to seeing the sights and experiencing some extra festive magic.  Unfortunately, the holidays are also a very busy time of year to visit and Thanksgiving week is among the most crowded times of year.  If you go in prepared for that, then it isn't necessarily a bad time to visit, but it is indeed crowded.

My advice to all Disney guests is to visit each of the four major theme parks.  Truly, you will find something of interest at each park for all ages.  Be sure to set aside time to see the nighttime parades and entertainment as those are some of the best shows Disney has to offer.  Also be sure to dine in some of the most popular themed restaurants because that will contribute to your overall experience.  And since you'll be visiting during the holiday season, you might enjoy taking some time to tour the resorts and see them festively decorated for Christmas.  Be sure to come back to the Moms Panel if we can be of further assistance!
