Hello, I am looking to rent an adult stroller for my special needs team child. Can you recommend a place that rents adult strollers.

    Hi Allyson ~

Great name by the way! As a Mom to a special needs teenager, I completely understand your needs.

Stroller rentals and wheelchair rentals are available at the Walt Disney World Resort at all four theme parks and Disney Springs. However, they do not offer the larger special needs strollers. There are a couple of local companies on the links I've provided above that are Disney featured providers that deliver strollers to the hotels at the Walt Disney World Resort. I called each of them to see if they offer the larger special needs stroller rentals.

    Orlando Stroller Rentals
offers a Maclaren Major Special Needs Stroller that will accommodate up to 110 pounds. These are limited in number so make sure you reserve early.

Kingdom Strollers has a Liberty Special Needs Stroller that will accommodate up to 100 pounds and 60 inches tall. These are limited in number so make sure you reserve early.

Another company gave me the name of Orlando Medical Rentals that offers several types of special needs joggers and push chairs so you may want to look them up and give them a try. I spoke with one of their customer service representatives and they will deliver any of their items to any of the hotels at the Walt Disney World Resort. A representative will make arrangements to meet with you at the hotel as Disney's Magical Express arrives so that they can make adjustments and make sure you are familiar with the features and how to fold the stroller.

Please feel free to visit us again with all your planning questions. We're hEAR for you!

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
