I am looking at online check in and there's a spot about declining Magic Bands. It says to bring active ones with you. Are these the bands that are mailed to you? What exactly does that mean? Will my custom colors that are to be shipped be canceled?

    Welcome back, Jennifer!

Declining a MagicBand is optional. Some returning Guests have expressed that they no longer wish to receive a complimentary solid color MagicBand with every stay at a Disney Resort hotel. For example, my family will be staying in two different Disney Resort hotels during our upcoming visit. I declined the second set of MagicBands since we can continue using the first set even after we check into our next Resort hotel.

Jennifer, if you have MagicBands from a previous visit that are still active in your My Disney Experience account, you are welcome to use those and still have complimentary MagicBands associated with this stay shipped to you.

However, if this is your first visit using MagicBands, then you do not want to decline them! Once you confirm you have finished the customization process, then you will get a shipping notification a few weeks before your vacation! A few days later your customized MagicBands will land on your doorstep, and they are ready to go when they arrive!

I hope this helps to clear up any confusion. Please let us know if you have additional questions! We are hEAR to help!
