Walt Disney World Halloween

Looking to go to WDW either in late Oct early Nov or possibly just Nov. What weeks are good to go with a typically lower crowd?

    Hi Shannon!

Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

There are actually several good websites that I use while planning a trip to Walt Disney World.  My favorite is called Touring Plans (touringplans.com).  They have a crowd prediction calendar that I find to be very useful.  Google the phrase "Disney World Crowd Calendar" and you will find others, as well.

Late October and early November are both great times to visit Walt Disney World.  They both have mild crowd levels and (usually) good weather.  Both will offer the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival, which is amazing.  Late October is a great time to catch the super fun Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at the Magic Kingdom.  Middle to late November would allow you to see all of the beautiful holiday decorations at Walt Disney World Resort.

The closer you get to Thanksgiving, the more crowded it will be. I definitely suggest finishing your trip up by the week before Thanksgiving if you're concerned about crowd levels.

I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any other questions.
