We are looking to go to Disney World in November/December of 2018. Would like to have other's input on whether we will be able to swim and explore the water parks or if it is too cold to do this. Thoughts/suggestions?

    Hi Lyndsay!

I am a Florida resident and we visit the Walt Disney World water parks all year round with our Platinum Plus Annual Pass!  November and December weather in Florida can be unpredictable, especially so far in advance, but I can tell you that at least one of the water parks is open year round and they only close when there is sever weather like a hurricane or if the temperature drops below a certain point.  We've had relatively warm November/December months the last couple of years.  I can specifically remember how warm it was on Christmas recently.  Even when it's a little chilly outside, you'll find that the water is warm.  It's getting out of the water that might be a bit on the cold side.  If you decide to visit Disney's Typhoon Lagoon or Disney's Blizzard Beach during your fall/winter vacation, utilize the lazy river as your transportation instead of walking from attraction to attraction.  Pick a spot for the day where your towels are easily accessible when getting out of the water.

If you're unsure about adding water park tickets to your vacation package, no problem!  You can always wait to decide if you'd like to add them at a later point once you can get a better picture of what the weather will be like next year.

    Have a magical day!
