We are looking at the Fury Catamaran Port Adventure. Do we all have to snorkel or can some of our party just stay on the catamaran until we get to the beach? What is the time frame of this excursion? Could we catch lunch back on Fantasy? Thanks

    Ahoy, Kathleen!

We stopped in Cozumel on our last cruise, and my family really enjoyed the Fury Catamaran Sail, Snorkel and Beach Party. We boarded a large catamaran which took us to a gorgeous snorkeling spot, then finished up the adventure with a private beach party. At the beach, my kids had a blast playing in the aqua park - a floating playground with slides and water trampolines!

If you have members of your sailing party that choose not to snorkel, I'm sure they will be more than welcome to remain on the catamaran during the snorkeling portion of the adventure. From what I remember, there was a large sun deck, and also a covered lounge area with tables and chairs. There are also restrooms onboard.

The excursion lasts from 3-3.5 hours, and you should be back to the ship by mid-afternoon. You certainly have the option to eat once you get back to the ship, but if you get hungry, you can purchase lunch on the beach. They serve delicious Angus burgers that melt in your mouth! The burgers were huge - my husband and I split one and were more than satisfied.

I hope you enjoy this Port Adventure as much as we did!

I hope this helps with your planning. Have a magical day! - Diane W.
