We are looking forward to sailing on the Magic this March, and we will be on-board over St. Patrick’s Day. Is it celebrated on the boat? In what ways? Thanks!!

    Welcome aboard, Elisabeth!

I'm excited to hear that your family will be setting sail on the Disney Magic. It's one of my favorite of Disney's four pixie-dusted ships. My family and I cannot wait until our next cruise on the Magic too, because no matter how many times we sail, there are always new and exciting activities to enjoy! Plus, you'll be some of the first guests to experience the new venues like Rapunzel's Royal Table restaurant since the Magic will be undergoing a re-imagination just prior to your sailing!

Wow, what a fun way to celebrate St. Patrick's Day, by setting sail with Disney! There aren't huge St. Patrick's Day celebrations onboard, but in the past, there have been a few special events and fun details to set the day apart. Check your Personal Navigator once onboard because I bet there will be some sort of Irish festivities in O'Gills Pub, since it is an Irish Pub after all! In the past, I believe the pubs on the ships hosted Irish celebrations with songs and dancing, and I've even heard that the bartenders might have made some of the beer green! You might also expect two green drinks of the day, like the Green Flash cocktail that they've featured in the past, or even a non-alcoholic green Mojito.

But, feel free to bring even more to the St. Patrick's Day festivities by wearing green! That is always a must for our family on St. Patrick's Day, Elisabeth. Have fun planning this cruise and please stop back as you continue to plan. We're happy to help with any other questions!
