Looking forward to MNSSHP on Oct 16th! Checked out the weather report. Looks like could be raining that week. What happens to the party if it pours?

    Hi Jeremiah!

Thank you for visiting the Moms Panel!

Just last week I arrived at Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at the Magic Kingdom park as the rain started falling heavily.  We attempted to ignore it, but had to seek refuge in The Emporium store and buy our rain ponchos before venturing outside again.  As far as I could see, all the attractions were still operating, and we encountered very short lines for these.  In fact, myself and my son were practically the only riders on Splash Mountain, we could choose which boat, and where we wanted to sit (although this cannot be guaranteed!).

Mickey's "Boo-to-You" Halloween Parade was affected, however, with Cast Members frantically sweeping the route to remove the water (even while it was still raining hard), and while it did eventually take place, it was later than planned and the Headless Horseman was not part of the parade that evening.

The good news is that the Trick-or-Treat locations were still set up, with big queues for candy!

Whatever the weather, I am sure you will still have a very enjoyable time at the Party!

If you have any other questions, please come back and ask me - I would be happy to help you plan your magical vacation!
