Looking forward to a late September Disney vacation...I have scheduled a Parasailing excursion for 10am! What is the best way to get there from the Pop Century? And how long will it take?? Thank You for all your help!!! Can't wait!!

    Hi there Cheryl,

The best way to travel from Pop Century to Sammy Duvall at the Contemporary is by bus.  You'll want to board a bus headed to the Magic Kingdom, and once there, you have two options.  You can either take the footpath for a short 10 minute walk to the Contemporary, or you can opt to take the Resort Monorail and disembark at the first stop.

To be safe, I would allow about 45 minutes for total travel time; 15-20 minutes between Pop and the Magic Kingdom by bus, and then another 15-20 to travel from the Magic Kingdom to the Contemporary Marina.  If it were me, I would probably walk, since I could head right over to the Marina area easily without fussing with stairs or elevators.  Once you disembark at the Monorail station, you'll have to head down the escalators through the lobby, past the pool, and out to the Marina area!  Walking is nice and peaceful and takes around the same amount of time if not less!

    Best Wishes,
