Looking forward to our first visit to WDW with DH and DD7. Arrive late pm 10/9 leaving early am 10/15. Staying in nearby resort. Feeling a bit overwhelmed. Looking for advice for 4-day HP itinerary. Should we include Water & More? Help is appreciated!

    Hi Mackenzie,

Congratulations on your first visit to Walt Disney World!

I would advise the following touring schedule for the theme parks:

10/10 Magic Kingdom, hop to Epcot in the evening
10/11 Magic Kingdom, hop to Disney's Hollywood Studios
10/12 Animal Kingdom, hop to Magic Kingdom
10/13 Water park, Downtown Disney (DisneyQuest) or pool time at hotel
10/14 Epcot, hop to Disney's Hollywood Studios in the evening

For a short visit, my best advice would be to skip the water parks and add a fifth day to your park hoppers. It would cost approximately $60 per person to add on the water park feature to your tickets. Upgrading to a five-day park hopper costs less than $10 per person. You can upgrade at a WDW ticket kiosk at any of the Disney theme parks. If you tack on a fifth day, on 10/13 I would tour Disney's Hollywood Studios then hop to Epcot. You would then not need to hop to Hollywood Studios on both evening already allocated to this park. Plus, there are many attractions at the Studios that you may be unable to see without starting there at least one day.

    Have a magical vacation!
