When looking for flights coming home after our cruise, what is the recommended flight departure time? I found a flight that leaves MCO at 12:05pm. Will that be enough time for my family to get the ME from the cruise to MCO? Thanks so much!!!

Welcome aboard, Jessica! Planning a Disney Cruise is so much fun, isn't it? Of course there are the logistics like flights that need to be taken care of, but after that, it's all the fun extras you'll be able to book! I'm excited for you as you begin planning!

Disney Cruise Line recommends that guests using Disney Cruise Line's ground transfers book flights no earlier than 11:30 a.m. on the day they disembark the ship. I hope you'll be using Disney Cruise Line's ground transfers as they make it such a seamless transition from land to sea and back again! There is an extra cost of $35 per person each way, but I promise it is worth every penny as they take care of all of the details for you. They even transfer guests from the resorts at Walt Disney World to the cruise port and back too! It is very similar to the Magical Express that serves the parks and airport, but does not serve the cruise port. As I mentioned this ground service with Disney Cruise Line does carry an additional fee, whereas the Magical Express between the airport and parks does not. Be sure to book this transportation with Disney prior to setting sail.

Your 12:05 p.m. flight will be perfect! You're lucky as you won't have to wait long at the airport! Have fun as you continue to plan and please stop back if you have further questions about your cruise before you set sail, Jessica! I'm happy to help!
