Looking at flights that arrive in MCO at August 25th 11:34pm. When I go to book my resort do I put the day I land as my check in time (August 25) or the day that we arrive at the resort past midnight (August 26) as my check in day?

It's great to see you here today at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Amanda!

It's so exciting that you're planning a last-minute trip to Walt Disney World Resort. You'll be able to do all of your planning right away because your booking window for advanced dining reservations is already open, and as soon as you book your Resort Hotel stay and your theme park admission you'll be able to make those FastPass+ selections immediately as well! Since you're planning on booking a later flight, let's chat about the best way to plan everything so that there's a room waiting for you when you arrive.

Check-in time at most Walt Disney World Resort Hotels is 3 p.m., so if you want to arrive late on the evening of the 25th you'll need to book your stay starting that day. If you book your stay beginning on August 26, you won't be able to check-in until 3 p.m. that afternoon which is more than 12 hours after your flight lands, so you'll definitely want to make sure that your Resort Hotel knows that you intend to sleep there the night that your plane gets in. I recommend using the online check-in tool so that you can bypass the Front Desk and the check-in process when Disney's Magical Express drops you off! There's also a place to input the arrival time of your flight so your Resort Hotel knows when to expect you. You'll get a text when your room is ready and your room number will appear in your My Disney Experience app, so you can head straight to your room and your comfy bed to get some sleep.

    Have a magical day, Amanda!
