I've been looking at the Festival of the Lion King experience but i can't figure out the different between Tier I and Tier II and exactly what all the "Festival" part entails ver. just coming to see the show. Can you help?

Hi Kelly!  It is my pleasure to help you plan your upcoming vacation.

Festival of the Lion King is in my opinion a must-do when visiting Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park.  The word "Festival" in the name of this show is just letting you know this is a high-energy show with great music, dancing, and acrobatics.  Guests who select Festival of the Lion King as one of their FastPass+ choices will be ushered into the theater ahead of guests in the standby queue.  This is a popular show and the theater does occasionally fill to capacity.  I recommend joining the queue at least 15 - 20 minutes prior to the performance.

There are also Festival of the Lion King Signature Dining Packages offered.  The Tier II package includes a 3-course lunch or dinner at Tiffin's Restaurant with reserved seating to the show and a commemorative cast photo.  The Tier I package includes the meal at Tiffin's, VIP seating at the show with the commemorative cast photo, and a specially guided safari tour.  If having access to the first few rows of seats is important to you, I would opt for FastPass+ or one of the Signature Dining Packages.  Otherwise, just hop in the standby queue and enjoy the show!

Please let us know if we can assist you with any additional vacation planning.
