We're looking at doing a quick two-day visit New Year's weekend with our two-year-old son - one day at a park, the other not. Any suggestions for restaurants or activities outside of the parks for a toddler (I've already struck out on a Chef Mi

    Hi Rebecca!

For a fun non-park day, head over to Disney Springs!  There is often live entertainment, fun shopping, tons of restaurants to choose from and even a hot air balloon ride you can take at Characters in Flight

My kids love dining at T-REX or Rainforest Cafe.  The interactive atmosphere makes for a fun dining experience and the food is delicious!

Grab a sweet treat at Ghiradelli Ice Cream & Chocolate Shop or a frozen treat at Vivoli il Gelato in The Landing.

Your son will love playing at The LEGO Store with lots of hands-on play tables.  My son would spend the whole day here if we let him.

Also, don't give up on reservations for Chef Mickey's.  There are often cancellations, so be sure to check every day for an open spot, especially the few days before.

    Have a magical day!
