My DH & I are looking at doing a private photo session at a resort.Did I read that the session is seperate from the PhotoPass, so all the photos can't be combined on one CD? Is that true? And which resort would be the best session for just the 2 of us

    Hi Codi,

Yes you did read right, the photo session is now completely sperate from the park photo pass photos. It is it's own package and you can call 407-824-1700 for the latest price and to book your session. The only down side of it being sperate is that if you order the CD you can't edit the photos at home and add borders to them like you used to be able to do. I did a photo shoot last summer and although it was nice to add the borders the photos were so beautiful I actually didn't as I felt it would spoil the photo. You can read all about Photo Pass under definitive guides at www.stitchkingdom.com

At the present time you can book a shoot at the Beach Club, Animal Kingdom Lodge, Grand Floridian, Polynesian and Wilderness Lodge. All of these resorts have very different feels to them, what I suggest you do is have a look at each resort at www.disneyworld.com here you'll find lots of photos and some video so you can decide which location would be best for you. I had my shoot at the Polynesian as we liked the relaxed feel there, the photos on the beach and the fact that you could see the Magic Kingdom Castle in the background. If you prefer a more traditional shoot I would recommend the Grand Floridian!

Hope that helped and you have a great trip,
