Looking at going to Disney some time between 2/19 and 2/27. First weekend of that week is Presidents's Day. Is it crowded then? If so, do the crowds thin out later in the week and the next weekend? Thanks!

Hi Laura! Even minor holidays like President's Day can cause an increase in attendance levels at Walt Disney World, because more families tend to visit when the children are out of school. So, yes, unfortunately, you'll find bigger crowds on President's Day weekend than the rest of February, which is generally a month of lower park attendance. The following weekend is the Princess Half-Marathon at Disney, and special events can also bring more people into the parks. Because of the holiday and the marathon, I expect that the week you're considering will be much busier than normal. Of course, Disney generally tries to compensate for the crowds by increasing park hours, so if you make sure you're at the parks early and take advantage of fast passes, you'll be able to experience lots of attractions.  However, if you'd rather visit during a less crowded time, consider the weeks before or after the week of February 19th, when park attendance is expected to be much lower.

Hope this helps! Please don't hesitate to visit us again at the Moms Panel if you have more questions!
