Hi Melissa!
Trying to plan ahead to make the most of your
Walt Disney World Resort vacation is a great idea, but it can definitely get complicated! Crowd calendars can be very helpful, but of course, are not always accurate. Because of this, I tend to plan to use
Extra Magic Hours. Extra Magic Hours basically give you a head start so you can beat the crowds throughout the day!
When my husband and I have visited the parks during more crowded times, we have found that arriving just before the park opens for Extra Magic Hours gives us the best chance to see what we want to see before the crowds cause longer wait times. During Extra Magic Hours, you can experience some of the rides (that typically have longer lines once the park is open to the public) with little or no wait time. Then, you can ride some of the other rides with shorter wait times while the general park visitors are trying to get to the rides that typically have longer lines. Also, you can use
FastPass+ to plan ahead and skip the lines for attractions that you may not be able to ride during Extra Magic Hours!
Have a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow!
