Hello, looking for clarification for friends. The Rider Switch Program described on the WDW site and recently on your panel is different from the current model used at the parks. The switching adult now has to go the the FP line. No more immediate switch?

    Hello Julia!

Thank you for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel. We have used Rider Switch many times while at Walt Disney World. On Walt Disney World's site, it says, "After riding the attraction, Party 1 locates Party 2 and gives the Rider Switch pass to the adult member who will be riding. Party 1 takes over supervision of the non-riding children or Guests. Party 2 enters and boards the attraction without having to wait in the regular queue a second time. The Rider Switch Pass must be presented to a Cast Member at this time."

In all the times we have used Rider Switch, the 2nd party has always gone into the FastPass line. That is where you present the Rider Switch Pass. Then Party 2 does not wait in the regular queue.

I hope this answers your question! We like to use it with our own FastPass+ selections to cut down wait times even more. If you have any other questions, please come back and see us real soon.
