We are looking at booking a verandah stateroom on the Disney Fantasy and I was wondering what a verandah with white wall meant in comparison to the other verandah suites?

    Hi Holly!

Please see the following from Disney Cruise Line's website on the three different types of verandahs used in their staterooms:

The standard verandah has clear plexiglass below the railing, enabling you to see a full view of the horizon while seated. A second type of verandah has a solid white wall; most of these are on the aft side of the ship. The nautical verandah (Disney Magic, Disney Wonder) has a large open-air porthole above the railing.

Please note, verandahs may differ in size, and the view on some verandahs may be obstructed. Guests may choose to upgrade their room category to enjoy a more spacious verandah or an unobstructed view.

I know that the statement references the Magic and Wonder, but it does explain the verandahs on the other ships.  I hope this helps Holly.  Please let me know if you need anything else answered.  I'm always happy to help.  Thanks for visiting the Moms Panel!
