Disney's Magical Express

I am looking at booking an early morning flight for the way home (flight leaves Orlando Airport at 8:55am). Will I be able to use the resort luggage check in service for this flight or will I need to check my luggage at the airport?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Michelle!

Resort Airline Check-In is one of my favorite benefits of staying at the Disney Resort hotels. It's so nice to be able to check into your flight and check your luggage from your Disney Resort hotel because you can bypass the ticket counter at Orlando International Airport! Resort Airline Check-In is open daily from 5:00 a.m. to noon and you must complete your check-in no later than three hours before their scheduled flight departure. This means that you have until 5:55 a.m. to check in for your 8:55 a.m. flight and the service will be open in time for you to use it for your trip.

If you are traveling back to Orlando International Airport using Disney's Magical Express, keep in mind that your bus generally leaves around three hours in advance. You will get your exact departure time on a Transportation Notice the day before your check-out day, but I would plan that you will need to be leaving your room around 5:30 a.m. to check in to your flight and be ready to catch your bus home!

Michelle, the Disney Imagineers are always working on new and exciting things at the theme parks, Disney Resort hotels and Disney Springs for Guests to enjoy, so I recommend that you keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for the latest news and announcements about everything you will be able to enjoy during your trip! Let us know if we can help you again as you continue planning. T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
