We are looking to book a trip in November 2019. We are a family of 5 with a military discount. Would we be able to stay in a standard size room at The Animal Kingdom Lodge with 5 people? What would the military discount be? Thanks for your help! Shari

    Hi Shari!

The incredible discounts that the Walt Disney World Resort offers member of the U.S. Military and their families are absolutely amazing!  Between the great rates on select Walt Disney World Resort Hotel rooms, fantastic pricing for theme park tickets, and even a discount on Memory Maker, there are so many great ways to save!

Unfortunately, the party size can't exceed the room occupancy for the room type, so since the Standard Rooms at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge can only sleep up to four adults, you would not be able to have all five of you in that one room.  The exception to that rule is that you can have one infant (less than 2 years of age) in the room, in addition to four Guests.  That being said, if you definitely want to stay in one room at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, make sure you check out the One Bedroom Suite.  This room can sleep up to six adults, so all five of you could be in the same room!

I should also note that only certain rooms are available for the hotel offer, and quantities are limited, so I highly recommend calling as soon as possible!  You can give the Cast Members a call at 407-939-4249.  They will be happy to help you plan the perfect vacation, and they will also be able to tell you what the discount would be for your choice of date and room!  Since the pricing does vary, there is no set military discount percentage, but it can be up to 50 percent!

Have a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow!
