Looking to book a family vacation, my two little boys will be four and 2.5 years old. Some people are telling me this is to young, but like to go while my four year old is excited about it. What would be a good idea of things/parks to take in and to stay?

    Hi Terri -

I brought my children to Walt Disney World for the first time when they were 11 months and 2 years old, and we still had a fantastic time. There's so much to see and do, even for younger children.

You didn't mention a specific budget or time frame, but I'd recommend 4-5 days. Anything more than that will feel overwhelming. The Polynesian and the Contemporary are very convenient hotels for families, but are in the deluxe category. If you were looking for something in the value category, then I'd recommend Disney's Art of Animation, which offers standard hotel rooms and family suites. The Animal Kingdom Lodge is another great option, but it's less convenient than the other deluxe resorts because you'll need to travel by bus to all of the parks.

If you can afford it, I'd recommend adding the park hopper option to the tickets so you'll have the flexibility to visit multiple parks in one day. There are things your kids will enjoy at all four parks, but you may only want to spend a half day at Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom.

I hope that helps! Feel free to come back and ask more questions as you start to look at options.
