Looking at the Alaskan Cruise excursions, and they're quite pricy...I'm wondering if there'll be additional expenses of having to pay for photos or will they be included (i.e. zip-line excursions)?

    Ahoy, Kelly!

Welcome back! I remember being in your shoes two years ago when I was planning my family's budget for our adventures in Alaska. We knew we wanted to book at least one excursion in each port of call to enhance our Alaskan experience so I selected four adventures at different price points. Looking back, we loved everything we experienced and saw the value in each excursion. The extensive knowledge of our tour guides and the immersive feeling are two things that stand out about our time in the Last Frontier.

There may be additional expenses to consider when you are planning your budget, but they are typically optional. On our Bear Creek Zipline Adventures excursion, I did purchase the pictures since they were not included. Cameras could be brought on the course at your own risk, but I was too nervous to bring mine. Something else to consider is tipping your tour guides. This is always up to you, but I think you'll find these guides are passionate about what they do, and it's a nice way to thank them. The amount is at your discretion.

Kelly, thank you for continuing to use the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We always love to help!

    Have a magical day!
