How long does it take to walk from the Disneyland Hotel to the monorail

    Hey there, Debbie!

I love the convenience of the Disneyland Resort. Both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park are less than a football field length apart from each other. All three of the Disneyland Resort Hotels are within convenient walking distance of each other and of the parks. And the vibrant Downtown Disney District forms the heart of them all!

The distance from the iconic Sorcerer Mickey hat gateway to the Disneyland Hotel grounds to the entrance of the Downtown Disney District station of the Disneyland Monorail attraction is about 500 feet. Note that along that path you will be required to pass through the security screening station to enter into the Downtown Disney District and theme parks area. Depending on the wait for security screening, you could find yourself making that short walk in as little as three minutes! Should you choose to continue your walk through Downtown Disney District rather than board the Disneyland Monorail, you would only need to walk an additional third of a mile to arrive at the center of the esplanade between the two theme parks. They are all just that close!

Besides the Disneyland Monorail, another great way to save steps throughout your visit to the Disneyland Resort theme parks is to add Disney MaxPass to your park tickets. While use of Disney FASTPASS kiosks is a complimentary service with your tickets, MaxPass lets you enjoy the benefits of FASTPASS from the convenience of your mobile device, and much more too!

    Have a magical time, Debbie!
