    Maria from NY Asked

Is it a very long walk from the cruise ship in Nassau to where our group would be picked up for an excursion?

Welcome aboard, Maria! There are so many exciting Port Adventures offered by Disney Cruise Line when your ship docks in the port at Nassau. My family and I have ventured out on many of the Port Adventures in Nassau, and have had really great experiences! You didn't mention which Port Adventures you're interested in, but no matter which one, I just know you're in for a great day!

When the ship docks in Nassau, Port Adventure groups actually meet up on the ship with the rest of the group before walking off the ship together to meet their transportation to the adventure itself. There is a bit of a walk down the dock from the ship to the main dock, then to the end of that dock to where the transportation will meet your group. Both the water ferries and the mini buses to all of the adventures that my family and I have taken have been right at the dock, so not terribly far. The dock is fairly long though and it'll probably take the group about ten to fifteen minutes walking down the dock to make their way from the ship to the transfers. We have been on adventures there that included some guests who had trouble walking or were simply needing to walk more slowly, and it wasn't a problem. Just let the guides know as you sign in onboard the ship at the meeting location, and they'll be sure to check on you as you make your way with the group down the dock.

Have such a great cruise and enjoy whichever adventure it is that you'll be experiencing, Maria! Please stop back if you have any other questions before you set sail. We're happy to help!
