Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Stephanie! Waiting can be the worst with anxious children, eagerly craning their necks in line to see their favorite characters! My daughter adores Snow White, but a 2-year-old in a long line can be difficult to manage.
When my family is making our FastPass Reservations, we really take into consideration what we want to tackle during our trip. Sometimes, all we plan to do is ride attractions. Other times, we visit solely to play Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom or pin trade. Our last trip, we put emphasis on meet n’ greets and character meals. I was able to make a FastPass for Cinderella at
Princess Fairytale Hall, because those lines can oftentimes be long, but I also had the My Disney Experience Mobile App pulled up while we were in the parks. I was able to check wait times in real time, and if the wait time for Rapunzel or Tiana dropped below 15 minutes, we skipped over to the line and hopped right in. Typically, wait times for Princesses can be 30-60 minutes depending on park crowds and weather. That same strategy served us well as we also got to see Mickey early in the morning and Tinkerbell right before the parade hit Main Street U.S.A. Should you happen to be a
Disney Chase VISA cardholder, you can make use of the exclusive (very short lines, if any!) meet n’ greets in Disney’s Hollywood Studios (Kylo Ren) and Epcot (a surprise character) by showing your card and walking right in.
Be sure to check in on the Princesses in Epcot’s World Showcase. You can see Belle in France, Mulan in China, and Anna and Elsa in Norway. Epcot meet n greets typically do not have FastPasses. If there is anything else I can do to help you plan your trip, please let me know. I’m hEAR for you! ~ Lindsey P.
