How long is the wait for table service restaurants in downtown Disney (please include Rainforest Dafe)? Would it be better if we made reservations?

    Hi Dorothy,

If at all possible, I would definitely make reservations for most of the table service restaurants within Walt Disney World.  There will be some that may have availability to walk-ins with no reservations but your choices for these restaurants will also be extremely limited.  You can make reservations up to 180 days in advance of your arrival.  For the most part, table service restaurants (especially the more popular ones) do fill up very quickly and to guarantee that you will be able to dine at these during your vacation and to avoid any disappointments you will need to make reservations.  I have always seen wait times in excess of 2 hours for Rainforest Café located in Downtown Disney and you would be very lucky indeed if you were able to be seated before that without a reservation.  You can call (407) WDW-DINE and speak with a cast member to make your reservations and if it ends up not coinciding with your plans on any given day, you can always cancel them!  I hope I have helped you to avoid any disappointments during your trip and make it as stress free as possible.

    Have a magical day!
