How long does it usually take on the Mickey Service to get from the airport in Orlando to the park? If i book a character meal close to the last seating time will the characters still be around and available?

    Hi Eric,

I just returned from WDW a couple of days ago and wrote down the exact times it took from the airport to our hotel at Walt Disney World.

Let me share the info with you!

Twenty minutes after exiting the plane, I was in line for the Disney's Magical Express bus to my resort (Pop Century). I was near the front of the line and a bus had just departed. I was able to get directly in line for the bus rather than having to go to the desk because I had my voucher in hand.

I waited 15 minutes until the next bus arrived and we began boarding. It only took 5 minutes to load the bus and we were on our way!

Twenty-five minutes later we arrived the Caribbean Beach Resort and dropped off guests. This took all of 4 minutes. We were at Pop Century five minutes later.

From the time that I exited the plane (I was near the front) to the time that I arrived my hotel was a total of 1 hour and 15 minutes!

The last seating at a character meal is an ideal time to dine. The characters will not depart early and in fact, if the dining room is less than full, you'll get even more individual attention!
