About how long does the Rose & Crown Pub & Dining Room Tea Experience last?

Hello, Julie! Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

My family and I love the Rose & Crown Dining Room at Epcot, and we try to dine there each time we visit Walt Disney World Resort. My husband and I honeymooned in London, so that area of Epcot’s World Showcase is extra special for us! While you can pop across the way and find a wonderful assortment of teas and teacups at The Tea Caddy, the Rose & Crown Pub & Dining Room Tea Experience will teach you the basics of brewing the perfect “cuppa.” Between the brews, sandwiches, scones and clotted cream, you can expect to spend 45 minutes to an hour for this experience. Since it’s only offered once a day three days a week, advance reservations are highly recommended. And although the experience officially begins at 9:45, you can check in at the Rose & Crown Dining Room beginning at 9:30 a.m. If you’re entering Epcot through the International Gateway (near Disney’s Yacht Club Resort and Disney's Beach Club Resort), it’s a 2-3 minute walk from the entrance. If you’re coming from the main entrance, though, give yourself at least 10 minutes to make your way around the right-hand side of the World Showcase Lagoon.

If you’re a fan of tea, Julie, I would also recommend checking out The Joy of Tea kiosk in the China Pavilion on the other side of the World Showcase Lagoon. (The iced Lychee-flavored black tea is wonderfully cool on a warm summer afternoon.) Other tea experiences at Walt Disney World Resort include Disney’s Perfectly Princess Tea (offered on select mornings), the Wonderland Tea Party at 1900 Park Fare (currently offered Monday through Friday afternoons from 2-3 p.m.), and the Afternoon Tea at the Garden View Tea Room (currently offered daily from noon until 4). Each of these experiences take place at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, and advance reservations are strongly recommended.

Hopefully you’ll be able to experience one or more of these options during your next Walt Disney World Resort vacation, Julie. Pinkies up!
