How long should we plan for an 8:05 breakfast at the Tusker House and 12:00 lunch at Yak Yeti. I dont want to get a fast pass to early! I realize its alot of dining in one day, but we splurged for the deluxe dining plan.

    Stephanie:

This is one gal who is all about dining at Disney, and it is my dream to one day splurge on that Deluxe Dining Plan! Disney puts just as much thought into the theme and design of its restaurants as they do some attractions. Why not enjoy more than one table service meal a day to take it all in?

I typically allow myself an hour and a half to dine at a table-service restaurant, from check-in to paying the check... The breakfast buffet at Tusker House will go slightly faster simply because you're more in command of the time table of food service and the fact that you are one of the first reservations. I would be surprised if you didn't finish your breakfast by slightly after 9:00 a.m. Yak and Yeti should be no different with my hour and a half guideline. The additional time of ordering from the menu will be offset by the fact that you are not waiting on characters.

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
